Location: Must be based in the UK with the right to work and live in the UK. Hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in the Milton Park or London office.

What you will do
- Own the end-to-end design strategy, championing user-centered thinking from executive strategy to execution.
- Build and evolve a comprehensive design system to ensure consistency and quality across all product surfaces.
- Hire, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of UX/UI designers and researchers.
- Drive innovation in design practices, including AI-assisted design, personalization, and inclusive design.
- Partner with Product, Data, and Engineering leadership to align design with business outcomes and technical reality.
- Present and defend design decisions at the executive level, translating rationale into strategic business value.
Requirements
- Must have the right to work and live in the UK.
- Significant experience in product design with a proven track record in a leadership role managing managers.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating systems thinking, strategic impact, and design quality.
- Deep knowledge of user research methodologies and integration of insights into design practice.
- Experience building and evolving design systems for multi-product, multi-platform environments.
- Expertise in modern design tools like Figma and knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG).
