TL;DR
HR & Workforce Coordinator (Recruitment & Workforce Compliance): Coordinating end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, employee administration, and mandatory training with an accent on workforce compliance, accurate HR records, and supporting employees throughout their employment journey. Focus on managing competing priorities independently while maintaining professional communication with candidates, employees, and management.
Location: Sydney Time (Mon–Fri, 8AM–5PM), flexible within business hours; 20–25 hours per week

What you will do
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment: job ads, sourcing, screening, interviews, reference checks, and candidate communication.
- Manage onboarding and employee administration: employment documentation, onboarding packs, HR records, rostering/workforce systems, and offboarding support.
- Coordinate mandatory and role-specific training: schedule sessions, maintain training registers, and track completion/renewal.
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee enquiries and support management with attendance, availability, and performance/probation documentation.
- Maintain HR reporting and process improvement: recruitment/onboarding/training records, vacancy tracking, and audit-ready compliance documentation.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience in human resources, recruitment, workforce coordination, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of recruitment, onboarding, and HR administration.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities and vacancies simultaneously.
- Experience using recruitment platforms (SEEK, Indeed, LinkedIn) and applicant tracking/HRIS/rostering/workforce management systems.
- High discretion handling confidential and sensitive employee information.
Nice to have
- Experience in healthcare, aged care, disability support, community services, or another regulated industry.
- Experience recruiting nurses, support workers, carers, or other frontline employees.
- Understanding of Australian employment practices and workplace requirements, including SCHADS Award or Nurses Award.
- Experience coordinating mandatory training and compliance documentation.
- Experience supporting remote/offshore/geographically dispersed teams.
