TL;DR

Head of FP&A (Fintech): Building and defining the corporate finance practice for an AI-powered wealth management platform with an accent on financial modeling, budgeting, and strategic forecasting. Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to McLean, VA or New York City, NY (On-site, Monday–Friday).

What you will do

  • Partner with the VP of Finance to deliver annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-hirify.global plans.
  • Build and evolve financial models and performance metrics to track revenue growth and unit economics.
  • Execute monthly and quarterly financial reporting, variance analysis, and KPI tracking.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering to stress-test plans.
  • Streamline and automate FP&A workflows and reporting infrastructure.
  • Support fundraising, board materials, and strategic finance initiatives.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in FP&A, transaction advisory, corporate finance, or audit.
  • Strong technical capabilities in advanced Excel, financial modeling, and scenario analysis.
  • Solid accounting fundamentals with a command of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow dynamics.
  • Ability to distill detailed financial models into clear business insights and executive narratives.
  • Must be able to work on-site in McLean, VA or New York City, NY.

Nice to have

  • MBA, CPA, or similar credential.
  • Experience with BI tools, SQL, and FP&A platforms like Adaptive, Vena, or Pigment.
  • Familiarity with SaaS metrics (ARR, churn, CAC, LTV) and startup experience.
