What you will do

• Serve as the primary technical interface between internal engineering teams and suppliers for components and modules.
• Manage proactive quality processes including design reviews, PFMEA, and first article inspections.
• Resolve part quality issues and manage deviation notices using structured problem-solving techniques.
• Monitor supplier performance KPIs and drive continuous improvement plans.
• Provide strategic technical advice and participate in new supplier selection processes.
• Ensure timely delivery of technical documentation and customer acceptance tests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering.
• Must be based in Singapore or Malaysia.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes in the relevant field of expertise.
• Experience with quality systems and methods such as Six Sigma.
• Proficiency in change management principles, including BoM structures and ECs.
• Strong communication, networking, and decision-making skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in engineering towards production processes.
• Proven track record in supplier quality engineering or technical supplier management.
