What you will do

• Integrate avionics hardware, sensors, and communications equipment into unmanned aircraft platforms.
• Perform system bring-up, troubleshooting, and validation of avionics systems.
• Support hardware-in-the-loop (HIL), ground, and flight test activities.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking integration issues.
• Configure and maintain Linux-based mission computers and embedded devices.
• Develop integration procedures, test plans, and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen, Green Card holder, or eligible for ITAR authorizations.
• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Systems, or Computer Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in avionics integration or aerospace systems engineering.
• Proficiency with Linux command line, networking (TCP/IP, VLANs), and avionics protocols (CAN, MAVLink, ARINC 429).
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory test equipment like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.

Nice to have

• Experience with UAS, autonomous systems, or defense programs.
• Familiarity with PX4, ArduPilot, or embedded Linux architectures.
• Knowledge of aerospace standards like DO-178C or DO-254.
• Active Secret security clearance.
