Software Engineer (L4), Developer Productivity & Platform

Location: US Remote; hybrid option; US-based role

Salary: $164,000–$205,000 per year

What you will do

• Build and scale the developer harness supporting modern coding assistants and automated code-generation workflows.
• Develop internal CLI tools, automated workflows, self-service platforms, worker services, and portals for engineering teams.
• Create Slack support bots, triage assistants, and knowledge-retrieval systems that surface internal documentation.
• Manage repository context systems, configuration files, rulesets, and prompt libraries for accurate domain-specific coding assistance.
• Design modular testing and feedback frameworks with GitHub Actions to improve the developer inner loop.
• Partner with engineering leadership, QA, and feature teams to identify bottlenecks and automate development workflows.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or TypeScript.
• Experience building internal tools with LLM APIs, knowledge-retrieval architectures, and complex automation.
• Deep understanding of developer productivity, GitHub Actions, and local development environment orchestration.
• Experience building automated frameworks, worker services, and internal portals.
• Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with C++ build systems and CMake.
• Knowledge of MLOps, model serving, and model management tools.
