Salary: $295,848 – $369,811 (OTE)

What you will do

  • Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to ongoing utilization for commercial prospects.
  • Organize and manage POC implementations of dbt Cloud Enterprise.
  • Lead and contribute to team projects that refine and develop the sales process.
  • Collaborate with product teams to maintain the commercial roadmap.
  • Engage with stakeholders ranging from individual developers to CTOs.
  • Actively participate in the dbt open source community.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of closing experience in technology sales with a proven track record of exceeding annual targets.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into consultative sales strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging diverse stakeholders in analytics organizations.
  • Diligence and organizational skills to manage long, intricate sales cycles.
  • Must be based in Washington, United States.
  • Experience with SQL or a strong willingness to learn.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience in analytics, ETL, BI, or open-source software.
  • Knowledge of or prior experience with dbt.
