Salary: $100,000 – $115,000

What you will do
- Perform drug metabolite identification using liquid chromatography-tandem high-resolution accurate mass spectrometry, NMR, and other analytical methods.
- Elucidate metabolic pathways in biological matrices (blood, plasma, excreta) using HPLC with radioactivity detection and LC-MS/MS.
- Design and conduct complex in vivo and in vitro metabolism studies, providing multiple strategic approaches during planning.
- Act as a study director or project manager, overseeing the planning, conduct, and timely delivery of high-quality projects.
- Mentor and train other scientists on technical and personal development while reviewing calculations, records, and reports.
- Author comprehensive reports and participate in the creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Requirements
- PhD with 3+ years, Master's with 10+ years, or Bachelor's with 13+ years of related experience.
- Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related science field.
- Strong expertise in LC-MS/MS, NMR, and interpretation of complex mass spectrometry data.
- Deep knowledge of ADME, PK, and metabolism.
- Familiarity with regulatory guidance, specifically MIST guidance and acceptance criteria for discovery, IND, and NDA stages.
- Must be able to work on-site in Cranbury, NJ.
