What you will do
- Develop and implement credit risk strategies and policies to support consumer lending and banking portfolios.
- Establish frameworks to ensure lending activities comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with product, marketing, and data engineering teams to enable decision support and customer insights.
- Use big data technology to mine transactional data and design new risk-adjusted policy proposals.
- Analyze portfolio performance at a granular level to identify trends and isolate key performance drivers.
- Mentor and coach Risk Analysts to elevate outcomes and drive creative data techniques.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in data and risk, with a strong emphasis on consumer lending.
- Expertise in analytics tools such as Python, R, SAS, or SQL.
- Experience with BI tools like Tableau, Quicksight, or Databricks.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a large matrixed organization.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to tell compelling stories using data.
- Undergraduate degree in Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field.
Nice to have
- Domain experience in FinTech, Risk, or Financial services.
- Product management experience within consumer lending.
- Advanced degree in a quantitative field.
