What you will do

• Perform patient check-in/check-out, measure vital signs, and update medication lists in the EMR.
• Administer injections and assist with anemia and iron management protocols.
• Schedule and process 24-hour blood pressure monitoring and other diagnostic procedures.
• Collect and process urine samples for laboratory transport.
• Manage clerical tasks including scanning, filing, answering phones, and processing medical record requests.
• Coordinate with physicians regarding changes in patient status or abnormal test results.

Requirements

• Fluent in both English and Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Current certification as a Medical Assistant or completion of a recognized medical assistant program.
• 1–2 years of front or back-office experience.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Proficiency with standard office equipment including stethoscopes, scanners, and EMR systems.
• Must be able to work onsite in Glendale, Arizona.
