What you will do

• Perform accurate and timely data entry of incoming medical records and appeals.
• Review and categorize incoming correspondence to identify necessary actions.
• Manage the filing and retrieval of both hard copy and electronic documents.
• Identify late appeal requests and notify Operation Unit Managers for claims disposition.
• Utilize the Halo platform to raise inquiries and resolve processing issues.
• Ensure all activities comply with updated policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Must be based in New York City (On-site).
• Experience in data entry with excellent typing skills.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and healthcare standards.
• Ability to comprehend healthcare terminology (e.g., DRG, Cost Outlier).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills in English.
• Capacity to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
