What you will do

• Provide professional reference services via LibAnswers, chat, email, and in-person interactions.
• Perform accurate bibliographic searches for scientific publications across various research databases.
• Manage document delivery and interlibrary loan (ILL) borrowing requests for library patrons.
• Maintain records in strict accordance with federal record-retention and copyright regulations.
• Execute administrative tasks using Microsoft 365 and other online office tools.
• Handle onsite projects including collection management, inventories, and circulation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of relevant experience OR High School Diploma/GED with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in oral and written communications, writing, editing, and problem solving.
• Practical knowledge of library information services, tools, and procedures.
• Ability to travel and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Must be able to work hybridly at the Glenn Research Center location.
