What you will do

• Drive editorial coverage for live events by identifying key quotes, cutting clips, and providing real-time social media coverage.
• Write high-quality recap articles and social posts following the hirify.global Smart Brevity style.
• Lead guest invitation strategies for roundtables, including researching, vetting, and managing executive-level attendee lists.
• Prepare moderators and speakers through the creation of briefing materials, conversation frameworks, and event scripts.
• Develop attendee-facing email communications and manage post-event content turnaround on tight deadlines.
• Optimize editorial operations by maintaining process documentation and organizing workflows in Airtable and Google Sites.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in journalism, content strategy, communications, events, or audience development.
• Must be based within the United States.
• Exceptional AP-style writing skills with the ability to produce clear content under strict deadlines.
• Strong news judgment and experience covering live events via social media.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with senior executives and public stakeholders.
• Familiarity with AI-powered content tools and workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with Google Workspace, Airtable, Splash, and Sailthru.
