TL;DR

Customer Success Manager (B2B): Managing and strengthening relationships with existing B2B customers to ensure retention and satisfaction with an accent on account growth and proactive communication. Focus on identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, conducting regular client check-ins, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues.

Location: Remote (Must be based in South Africa). Working hours: U.S. Business Hours

What you will do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of existing B2B customer accounts.
  • Build long-term relationships through proactive check-ins via phone, email, and virtual meetings.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling and hand qualified leads to the Sales team.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Support teams to resolve customer issues.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, account notes, and activity logs within the CRM.
  • Track account health and renewals while providing customer insights and trends to leadership.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or Client Services.
  • Proven experience managing relationships with B2B customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Comfortable making proactive outbound calls to existing customers.
  • Ability to work during U.S. Business Hours.

Nice to have

  • Experience in telecommunications, wireless, internet services, or managed services.
  • Experience supporting geographically distributed customer accounts.
  • Previous experience working specifically with U.S.-based customers.
