TL;DR
Customer Success Manager (B2B): Managing and strengthening relationships with existing B2B customers to ensure retention and satisfaction with an accent on account growth and proactive communication. Focus on identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, conducting regular client check-ins, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues.
Location: Remote (Must be based in South Africa). Working hours: U.S. Business Hours

What you will do
- Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of existing B2B customer accounts.
- Build long-term relationships through proactive check-ins via phone, email, and virtual meetings.
- Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling and hand qualified leads to the Sales team.
- Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Support teams to resolve customer issues.
- Maintain accurate customer records, account notes, and activity logs within the CRM.
- Track account health and renewals while providing customer insights and trends to leadership.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or Client Services.
- Proven experience managing relationships with B2B customers.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Comfortable making proactive outbound calls to existing customers.
- Ability to work during U.S. Business Hours.
Nice to have
- Experience in telecommunications, wireless, internet services, or managed services.
- Experience supporting geographically distributed customer accounts.
- Previous experience working specifically with U.S.-based customers.
