What you will do
- Develop multiphase flow models (gas-liquid, solid-liquid, VOF, Euler-Euler/Lagrange) for a variety of industrial and process engineering applications.
- Model non-Newtonian and complex fluid rheology, including high-viscosity and shear-thinning flow regimes.
- Own meshing generation strategies for complex industrial geometries and build robust parametric CAD models in NX or CATIA.
- Implement HPC workflows, including job scheduling and GPU acceleration for large-mesh transient simulations.
- Create surrogate AI models and curate CFD datasets for downstream ML training and Pareto optimization workflows.
- Collaborate directly with customers to scope and solve complex engineering challenges via CAE and AI solutions.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of industry experience post-MEng, MSc, or PhD in mechanical, chemical, or process engineering.
- Must be based in Singapore for a hybrid work arrangement.
- Deep proficiency in CFD solvers such as OpenFOAM, Star-CCM+, or Fluent.
- Experience with Python scripting and simulation automation.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience in parametric CAD modelling using NX or CATIA.
- Expertise in custom solver and boundary condition development.
