TL;DR
Senior Thermal Engineer (AI infrastructure): Designing and optimizing thermal management for high-density AI Factory infrastructure with an accent on liquid cooling, CFD simulation, and experimental validation. Location: Based at the Singapore headquarters, with potential international travel to AI Factory sites globally.

hirify.global Technologies develops energy-efficient AI infrastructure, including verticalized AI Factories and a large-scale GPU cloud, using liquid cooling, energy management, water-use optimization, and modular construction.

What you will do

  • Lead thermal design and optimization for AI Factory infrastructure and AI systems exceeding 100 kW per rack.
  • Design and validate direct-to-chip, immersion, and hybrid liquid cooling architectures.
  • Execute large-scale, high-fidelity CFD simulations using ANSYS Fluent on A100 and A400 GPU clusters.
  • Develop predictive thermal models and CFD-based digital twins incorporating machine learning capabilities.
  • Lead experimental thermal testing, instrumentation, data analysis, and validation campaigns.
  • Provide technical leadership to cross-functional engineering teams and advance sustainable cooling solutions that minimize PUE.

Requirements

  • Higher-level degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or a related field focused on heat transfer and fluid dynamics.
  • 8+ years of thermal-management experience in data-center and high-performance-computing applications.
  • Deep ANSYS Fluent expertise and experience with complex, large-scale CFD simulations.
  • Extensive experience with liquid cooling technologies, including cold plates, heat exchangers, and cooling distribution systems.
  • Experience in experimental thermal testing, instrumentation, data analysis, multiphysics simulation, and electronic systems with power densities above 50 W/cm².
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, MATLAB, and Python, with strong communication and technical presentation skills.

  • Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals and conference presentations.
  • Experience developing machine-learning-enhanced predictive thermal models or digital twins.
