What you will do

• Troubleshoot and debug issues in the field, tracing failures to specific subsystems.
• Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and software systems.
• Lead and support engineering test activities using analysis tools to meet performance standards.
• Inspect hardware quality and resolve manufacturing or build issues.
• Create and review technical documentation, including schematics, drawings, and build instructions.
• Operate company vehicles to travel to field operations sites as required.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a technician in autonomous, automotive, aerospace, or related industries.
• Confidence with automotive electronics and communication protocols (Ethernet, CAN, LIN, 100BASE-T1).
• Comfort operating in Linux environments and using terminal-based diagnostic tools.
• Ability to work in a traditional shop setting or outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Physical ability to climb ladders, stand, crouch, and lift up to 45 pounds.
• Clean driving record required for operating company vehicles.

• Deep understanding of electrical/harnessing standards and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with both low and high-volume production environments.
