Senior Software Engineer (Embedded/Automotive)

What you will do

• Design and develop embedded control software for high-voltage battery sensor communication.
• Implement physics and control requirements for mechatronic diagnostics and communication strategies.
• Validate software functionality using automated tools, benches, and vehicle-level testing.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional collaboration with Systems, Safety, and Electrical Architecture teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within an Agile Scrum environment.
• Continuously refine software features based on data-driven insights and performance metrics.

Requirements

• BS in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering or Computer Science required.
• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in embedded controls software.
• Proficiency in C and C++ programming.
• Experience with hand-coded C or MATLAB/Simulink model-based development.
• Working knowledge of GitHub, INCA, and MDK.
• Strong interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration.

Nice to have

• MS in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Knowledge of AUTOSAR standards and methodology.
• Experience with CAN, LIN, ARXML, or Ethernet communication protocols.
• Familiarity with AI for software development.
• Experience with JIRA and Scaled Agile Framework.
