What you will do

• Design, establish, and perform robust test plans for sensor modalities including LiDAR, Radar, and Cameras.
• Partner with software and systems teams to interpret requirements and decompose them into detailed component specifications.
• Execute lab-based testing and real-world field trials to verify sensor functionality.
• Perform root cause analysis and problem resolution during design, prototype, and production phases.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Hardware, or Computer Engineering with 2+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 0-3 years of experience.
• Experience with sensor modalities such as LiDAR, Radar, Camera, and Inertial Navigation Systems.
• Familiarity with data buses including CAN, PCIe, Ethernet, and I2C.
• Understanding of automotive ECUs, industry standards, and regulations.
• Proficiency with lab equipment like oscilloscopes and multimeters.
• Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS or Jama.

Nice to have

• Automotive Tier-1 supplier experience.
• Knowledge of ISO 26262 standards and ASPICE.
• Experience with C, C++, Python, or Linux.
• Background in safety-critical systems and applications.
• Experience analyzing large datasets from sensor modalities.
