Software Engineer (Full Stack Focus)

Location: Onsite in Columbia, Maryland; applicants must reside in the United States at the time of application.

What you will do

• Develop end-to-end full-stack solutions covering user interfaces, REST middleware, databases, and analytics.
• Automate new capabilities for mission teams and their partners.
• Maintain JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Bootstrap, and jQuery interfaces while preparing future migrations to React, Angular, or Vue.
• Optimize Python, Asyncio, and Pandas backends and update legacy Java Map/Reduce and GHOSTMACHINE analytics.
• Manage services in MACHINESHOP using Docker, Nginx, and GitLab CI/CD, with planned expansion into C2S and HCI.
• Use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and Opencode to accelerate delivery.

Requirements

• 12+ years of relevant experience, or a technical bachelor's degree plus 4+ years of experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
• Successful software development experience on NSANet and familiarity with environments such as MACHINESHOP, C2S, or GHOSTMACHINE.
• Production-grade Python and JavaScript experience for robust full-stack architectures.
• Experience developing user interfaces, REST middleware, databases, and analytics in cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Git-based version control and continuous integration pipelines.

Nice to have

• Experience with CNO, ATPG, TURBINE/ASGARD, automation platforms, or CNE.
• Experience customizing AI-assisted development tools through advanced configurations such as Skills and Memory.
• Familiarity with React, Angular, Vue, AWS, C2S, HCI, Docker, Nginx, and GitLab CI/CD.
