Software Engineer (Fullstack)

TL;DR

Software Engineer (Fullstack): Developing and deploying end-to-end automation solutions for national security missions with an accent on full-stack architectures and AI-assisted development. Focus on modernizing legacy infrastructure, optimizing Python backends, and implementing scalable user interfaces.

Location: Onsite in Columbia, Maryland. TS/SCI with Poly clearance is mandatory.

What you will do

• Develop end-to-end full-stack solutions including user interfaces, REST middleware, databases, and analytics.
• Automate new capabilities to be leveraged by CNO and its partners.
• Maintain existing JavaScript/jQuery interfaces and migrate them to modern libraries like React, Angular, or Vue.
• Optimize backends using Python, Asyncio, and Pandas.
• Manage and deploy services using Docker, Nginx, and GitLab CI/CD.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and Opencode to accelerate delivery.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance.
• Must be able to work onsite in Columbia, Maryland.
• 12+ years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline plus 4+ years of experience.
• Experience with software development on NSANet (MACHINESHOP, C2S, or GHOSTMACHINE).
• Production-grade proficiency in Python and JavaScript for full-stack architectures.
• Experience with git-based version control and continuous integration pipelines.

Nice to have

• Experience working within CNO, specifically with ATPG, TURBINE/ASGARD, or other automation platforms.
• Advanced configuration experience with AI-assisted development tools (Skills and Memory).
• Familiarity with AWS and modern UI libraries (React, Angular, Vue).
• Experience with infrastructure expansion utilizing C2S, HCI, and Docker.
