What you will do

• Research and resolve rights-related issues, including ownership conflicts, 3rd party claims, and user disputes.
• Provide high-level internal and external support to ensure immediate resolution of rights issues.
• Maintain and audit content within YouTube CMS and proprietary tools with high attention to detail.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding department procedures and project roadblocks.
• Stay proficient in proprietary platform technology including YouTube, Meta, TikTok, and SoundCloud.

Requirements

• Must be based in New York and able to work 4 days per week in the office.
• Experience in data entry, customer service, or legal fields.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Docs.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of copyright and the current popular music landscape.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience working in a CMS such as YouTube CMS, Facebook Rights Manager, or SoundCloud Deck.
• Experience with customer service software like Zendesk.
• Experience with data analysis platforms such as Looker.
• Fluency in additional languages.
