Salary: $100,940–$147,000 per year

What you will do

• Deliver integrated concept demonstrations for USV workflows including mission planning, route execution, and vehicle health monitoring.
• Develop Python utilities and services for data shaping, simulation hooks, and CLI tooling.
• Implement real-time interfaces using REST, WebSockets, and streaming patterns to support high-rate telemetry.
• Manage containerized and orchestrated deployments using Docker, Docker Compose, and Kubernetes.
• Troubleshoot distributed messaging architectures such as Redis, DDS, and Kafka.
• Maintain demo-ready software through pragmatic unit and end-to-end testing.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience with Python for services, tooling, or automation.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain/maintain a U.S. national security clearance.
• Familiarity with autonomy/robotics concepts such as mission states, control modes, and fail-safes.
• Experience with maritime data sources like GPS/IMU, AIS, and radar integration.
• Experience with telemetry and messaging systems (Redis, DDS, MQTT, Kafka).
