TL;DR

Cybersecurity Program Analyst (Federal/Cybersecurity): Managing project schedules, documentation, and compliance activities for cybersecurity assessment and authorization projects with an accent on RMF, A&A, and ATO processes. Focus on coordinating stakeholder communication, tracking performance metrics, and ensuring project deliverables meet federal regulatory standards.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Washington, DC (Hybrid, up to two days per week on-site)

What you will do

  • Maintain integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, and performance metrics for cybersecurity assessment projects.
  • Coordinate RMF, A&A, and ATO activities by collaborating with ISSOs, system owners, and government stakeholders.
  • Prepare and review cybersecurity documentation including SARs, RARs, SAPs, and ATO letters.
  • Develop executive-level reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate project health and risks.
  • Facilitate meetings, document decisions, and coordinate follow-up activities with program and security stakeholders.
  • Ensure all project and security documentation complies with organizational and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Public Trust clearance eligibility required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Cybersecurity, or related field
  • CompTIA Security+ certification
  • 3 years of experience in project management, program management, or federal IT compliance
  • Working knowledge of RMF, A&A, and ATO processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • Must be able to travel to customer site up to two days a week

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting federal government cybersecurity programs
  • Familiarity with NIST RMF, FISMA, and FedRAMP frameworks
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
