What you will do

• Lead end-to-end CMMC implementations for customers, owning the experience from kickoff through readiness milestones.
• Translate requirements into implementation plans, including scope, timelines, milestones, and success criteria.
• Operationalize CMMC requirements, including NIST SP 800-171 control expectations, SSP, and POA&M workflows.
• Coordinate secure-environment planning involving identity, network segmentation, and cloud environments like GCC High or Azure Government.
• Collaborate with C3PAOs, MSPs, and internal teams to improve pre-sale scoping and handoff quality.
• Build repeatable implementation assets, including RACI models, discovery questionnaires, and handoff runbooks.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in implementation, professional services, GRC, or security compliance.
• Must be based in New York, NY for a hybrid work arrangement.
• Technical fluency in identity, endpoints, cloud environments, logging, and access control.
• Strong project management instincts for managing timelines, dependencies, and risks.
• Ability to operate in ambiguous, early-stage environments and build structure from scratch.
• Knowledge of or motivation to learn CMMC, NIST SP 800-171, and the defense industrial base.

Nice to have

• Experience with FedRAMP, ITAR, AWS GovCloud, or defense-sector customers.
• Experience implementing GRC platforms or compliance automation tools.
• Certifications such as PMP, CSM, Security+, CISA, CISM, or CRISC.
• Experience building implementation playbooks and onboarding programs from an early stage.
