Salary: $171,200 - $256,800 USD

What you will do

• Build, coach, and develop a high-performing team of electrical engineers focused on technical rigor and career growth.
• Set strategic goals and manage resource planning across development programs and sustaining projects.
• Oversee the delivery of safety-critical electrical designs, including PCB implementations and firmware/ASIC integration.
• Ensure compliance with medical device design controls and standards such as ISO 14708 and IEC 60601.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including systems engineering, regulatory, quality, and manufacturing to manage technical risks and project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, systems, mechanical, or biomedical engineering required.
• Minimum 7 years of work experience with 5 years of managerial experience (or advanced degree with 5 years of work experience and 5 years of managerial experience).
• Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire.
• Ability to work on-site in Mounds View, MN 4 days per week.
• Demonstrated experience in regulated product development environments.

Nice to have

• Experience developing Class III medical devices or active implantable medical devices.
• Technical breadth in RF/telemetry, EMI/EMC, MRI safety, and low-power design.
• Experience with verification, validation, and risk management in medical device design.
