What you will do

• Promote news and factual content across the site and app during UK morning hours.
• Collaborate with editorial divisions to manage daily priorities and big event coverage.
• Optimize headlines and image choices for mobile-first user experiences.
• Monitor breaking news and manage push alerts for global audiences.
• Analyze performance data and conduct A/B testing to improve user engagement.
• Coordinate with IT and product teams to report site issues and CMS bugs.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in digital publishing within a news environment.
• Must be based in London or able to commute to Television Centre for hybrid work.
• Strong editorial judgment and interest in global news and factual content.
• Proven experience with homepage production, push notifications, and content optimization.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities across time zones.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
