What you will do

• Assess evolving regulatory requirements and translate them into practical governance and control expectations.
• Drive enhancements to industry-specific rating models and methodologies in partnership with quantitative teams.
• Manage the end-to-end process of submitting formal regulatory notifications to the PRA and other authorities.
• Conduct rigorous compliance assessments of rating models, credit risk processes, and data infrastructures.
• Partner with Model Development, Independent Validation, and Internal Audit to review rating system performance.
• Lead EMEA-specific and global regulatory engagements relating to credit risk governance.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience at the PRA, a European regulator, or a bank with IRB approach permission.
• Strong background in risk governance, credit risk management, and regulatory change.
• Experience leading or supporting IRB implementation initiatives for non-retail credit exposures.
• Deep understanding of financial services governance, audit expectations, and the regulatory landscape.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Highly organized and self-directed with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
