What you will do

• Oversee development operations, including donations reporting, records management, and stewardship programs.
• Manage the strategy for the donor pipeline and ensure data integrity within the Blackbaud system.
• Coordinate liaison efforts between the Faculty, university units, and external development stakeholders.
• Lead, motivate, and evaluate a team to achieve campaign and strategic fundraising goals.
• Develop and manage a personal portfolio of major gift prospects through cultivation and solicitation.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to facilitate private and public sector support for university priorities.

Requirements

• University degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum of five years of related experience in fundraising, alumni relations, or advancement.
• Proven experience working in a large, complex organization.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills for dealing with senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities with high attention to detail.
• Must be based in Vancouver, BC for this onsite role.
