Compensation: $150,000 – $220,000 base salary + equity + 10% annual bonus

What you will do

• Build, ship, and maintain backend services using Node.js, AWS Amplify, and DynamoDB.
• Develop frontend interfaces using TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Design and integrate REST and GraphQL APIs for scalable data access.
• Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions to foster shared ownership.
• Translate product requirements into parallelizable, incrementally releasable tasks.
• Balance short-term deliverables with long-term investments in system performance.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA
• 3+ years of experience on a full-stack engineering team.
• Professional experience with TypeScript, API development, and system integration.
• Proven ability to optimize database performance through schema design and query tuning.
• Experience building user interfaces with reusable, composable components.
• Strong communication skills and ability to navigate technical tradeoffs.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS Amplify.
• Familiarity with Electron for cross-platform desktop applications.
• Experience integrating with LangChain or other LLM orchestration frameworks.
• Prior experience with voice technology and AI-driven applications.
