What you will do

  • Develop and execute comprehensive business plans with suppliers and internal stakeholders, including executives, field sales organizations, global account teams, and marketing.
  • Identify target accounts, markets, and sales goals using supplier sales planning systems and the hirify.global CRM; track targets and communicate results to suppliers and hirify.global.
  • Drive supplier growth by supporting training programs for field sales and customer bases, and by managing supplier marketing and co-op dollars.
  • Negotiate and execute corporate preferred supplier agreements, including volume rebates, co-op and marketing development funds, and commercial terms and service expectations.
  • Forecast supplier volume rebates and ensure execution of term agreements while collecting earned funding and allowances.
  • Review supplier and supply chain performance (margin, fill rates, turns, availability) and partner with distribution centers to improve financial performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 3+ years of contract negotiations experience required; 5+ years of supplier management experience required.
  • 5+ years of staff management experience required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to develop and deliver presentations.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%.
  • Proficiency with PC and Microsoft Office software.
