What you will do
- Establish North America Procurement solution delivery for TL, Intermodal, Flatbed, Temp control, and Expedited modes.
- Develop vendor strategies and manage carrier relationships through RFP participation and performance monitoring.
- Analyze post-RFP results against historical and market benchmarks to provide strategic delivery and messaging.
- Coordinate with delivery and implementation teams to establish contracting, integration, and timelines for post-go-live strategy.
- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and FP&A teams to ensure MSA compliance and data integrity.
- Work cross-functionally with Pricing and Multimodal teams to optimize customer networks and reduce costs.
Requirements
- Must be based in the U.S.
- At least 5 years of combined experience in carrier Procurement and Logistics/Operations.
- Deep understanding of transportation contracts, rate structures, and networks across various modes.
- Bachelors degree required.
- Availability to travel 5-10% of the time.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Tableau; familiarity with TMS platforms (e.g., Mercury Gate, Oracle) and RFP tools.
