TL;DR

Location: Hybrid, New York (Preference for candidates located in NYC or Boston)

Salary: $100,000–$125,000 base + variable compensation

Ocean, an early-stage team spun out of hirify.global, is building a membership layer for modern direct-to-consumer ecommerce to make online shopping effortless.

What you will do

  • Own brand implementation from initial setup through launch to get partners live quickly.
  • Demonstrate the platform's effectiveness to brands using data and hands-on partnership.
  • Drive feature adoption and expansion to maximize value for brands and increase consumer signups.
  • Partner with brands on placement and messaging strategies to convert shoppers into members.
  • Build and maintain trusted, long-term relationships as the primary point of contact.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to share brand feedback and shape product scaling.

Requirements

  • Experience in customer success, account management, or brand partnerships, preferably in D2C, ecommerce, or SaaS.
  • Proven track record of driving adoption and outcomes for partners independently.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data into compelling stories.
  • Ability to thrive in a scrappy, early-stage environment with high ambiguity and ownership.
  • Must be based in the USA.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Shopify or other ecommerce platforms.
  • Background working directly with D2C or independent brands.
  • Experience with growth, lifecycle, or marketing on the brand side.
