What you will do
- Lead engineering for a topic team to ship high-quality software on predictable schedules.
- Coach engineers and foster a culture of growth through regular one-on-ones and career development conversations.
- Provide vision, purpose, and visibility to teams while ensuring effective communication.
- Implement process improvements and iterate on engineering culture.
- Participate in the hiring and onboarding of new engineers.
- Set expectations, provide feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience leading engineering teams.
- Very strong verbal English communication skills.
- Experience with participatory management or servant leadership.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Barcelona.

- Previous exposure to Tribes & Squads organizational models.
- Spanish language proficiency.
