Frontend Lead Engineer (React)

Location: Hybrid in Barcelona or Madrid, Spain. Relocation support is available.

What you will do

• Lead a high-performing cross-functional agile team of 7-10 software engineers.
• Define the technical strategy for the Prime domain and ensure optimal performance of modules.
• Collaborate with Product, Business, Architecture, and Data Science teams to shape the evolution of the product.
• Mentor engineers, manage performance, set goals, and prioritize the team's workload.
• Translate functional specifications into high-performance logical technical design and code.
• Drive the hiring process and onboard new talent into a culture of high performance.

Requirements

• Must be based in or be able to relocate to Spain (Barcelona or Madrid).
• Strong expertise in Javascript, OO design, system design, and performance tuning.
• Experience with distributed, concurrent, and scalable systems.
• Proficiency with ReactJS, GraphQL, Jest, Cypress, and SASS.
• Demonstrated comfort using AI tools such as GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT in development workflows.
• Proven ability to lead engineering teams and manage performance.

• Advanced ability to leverage AI tools to debug code and streamline productivity.
• Experience collaborating with AI tools as "pair programmers".
• Strong adaptability to rapidly evolving AI features.
