What you will do

• Adjust and investigate workers' compensation claims for TPA clients, including 24-hour initial contacts.
• Evaluate compensability and total claim value based on Florida Statutes and case law.
• Manage indemnity payments, state filings, and maintain accurate reserve amounts.
• Coordinate medical treatment with Nurse Case Managers and authorize services per Florida Statute 440.13.
• Negotiate settlements and identify subrogation, contribution, or indemnification opportunities.
• Maintain regular communication with injured employees, employers, medical providers, and excess carriers.

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience handling Workers’ Compensation claims.
• Active Florida All Lines Adjuster or Workers’ Compensation license.
• Working knowledge of Workers’ Compensation Statutes and Rules and their application.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Must be based in or able to work from Lakewood Ranch, FL (Hybrid), unless exceptionally qualified for remote work.
