TL;DR

Premium Field Auditor (Finance): Examining financial records of businesses insured by commercial property and casualty insurers with an accent on identifying discrepancies and ensuring regulatory compliance. Location: Must be based in or near Greenville, SC, with travel required to policyholder locations.

Compensation: $44–$50 per billable hour, with an earning potential of $75k+.

What you will do

• Conduct premium audits for Workers’ Comp, General Liability, Garage, and Auto policies.
• Review financial records and apply established audit standards.
• Schedule and perform on-site audits within an assigned territory.
• Communicate with policyholders to gather necessary documentation.
• Identify discrepancies and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and submit detailed audit reports.

Requirements

• Must reside in or near Greenville, SC to perform field audits.
• 2+ years of premium audit experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Personal auto insurance meeting minimum requirements: $100,000 bodily injury per person; $300,000 per accident.

Nice to have

• Experience with Visual Audit and Nexus Audit software.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
