What you will do

• Lead the development and execution of comprehensive HIL test plans for autonomous software and hardware integration.
• Perform bench-level testing of sensors, compute modules, and static vehicle-level simulations.
• Execute structured test plans covering functional, regression, and fault-injection scenarios.
• Analyze software performance metrics including latency, CPU/memory utilization, and throughput on target hardware.
• Design and implement automated test suites integrated with AWS for scalable data analysis and regression tracking.
• Collaborate with Autonomy and Systems Engineering teams to translate complex edge cases into repeatable HIL test cases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an applicable engineering field.
• 5+ years of experience testing complex safety-critical systems, preferably in an automotive context.
• Direct experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing and system-level validation.
• Deep understanding of CAN networks, vehicle communication protocols, and Ethernet (UDP/TCP).
• Proficiency with Linux environments and CAN bus analysis tools like Vector CANoe or Vehicle Spy.
• Valid driver’s license and clear driving record.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in an applicable engineering field.
• Experience testing ADAS vehicles or autonomous robotic systems.
• Proficiency in Python or C++ for creating test scripts and data analysis tools.
• Experience using AWS for data storage, compute, or CI/CD integration.
