What you will do

• Own the development and structure of Design Verification Plans & Reports (DVP&R) across complex programs.
• Lead cross-functional alignment of validation activities across mechanical, electrical, and firmware teams.
• Define and develop test methodologies and frameworks while performing hands-on testing for high-risk programs.
• Drive effective DFMEA participation by challenging assumptions and linking risks to validation plans.
• Lead structured root cause investigations using data-driven hypothesis testing.
• Continuously improve test capabilities, tools, and best practices to enhance validation rigor.

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics) or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in testing and validation of electro-mechanical or electronics-based products.
• Proven ability to lead structured root cause investigations (FMEA, DOE, RCCA, FTA).
• Strong hands-on application of environmental and reliability testing (thermal, vibration, shock, pressure).
• Advanced experience with lab instrumentation and validation systems.
• Must be able to work onsite in Plainville, CT.

Nice to have

• Experience with test automation or data acquisition tools (LabVIEW, Python).
• Experience supporting validation in regulated environments (UL, CE, CSA, NSF).
