What you will do

• Design and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API layers.
• Develop automated regression, functional, and end-to-end test suites.
• Implement mobile automation using Appium, Espresso, and XCTest.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers and architects to define testable acceptance criteria.
• Support performance and reliability validation for distributed microservices.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software quality engineering or SDET roles.
• Strong programming skills in Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Kotlin.
• Proven experience with UI automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Deep expertise in mobile automation (Appium, Espresso, XCTest) and API testing (REST Assured, Postman).
• Must be based in Canada, the United States, or Latin America.
• Experience with SQL, Git, and CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

Nice to have

• Experience with Backbase or other digital banking platforms.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or BlazeMeter.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and observability tools (Datadog, Grafana).
• Familiarity with BDD tools (Cucumber, Gherkin) and AI-assisted development tools.
