What you will do

• Shape the developer point of view for complex, emerging AI product areas and define adoption paths.
• Manage, coach, and grow a team of Developer Advocates, owning hiring and career development.
• Produce and review production-quality adoption assets, including reference apps, demos, and deep-dive guides.
• Build durable adoption infrastructure such as repos, workshops, field kits, and playbooks.
• Establish developer-signal loops to synthesize community and usage data into product roadmap inputs.
• Maintain Snowflake's credibility within strategic developer and open-source communities.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Developer Relations, Advocacy, or Developer Experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing and mentoring technical/DevRel teams.
• Strong hands-on technical foundation to build/debug demos and explain architecture tradeoffs.
• Working fluency with modern AI development: LLMs, RAG, agents, function calling, and LLM APIs.
• Solid grounding in data and analytics workflows (SQL, ELT/ETL, dbt, orchestration).
• Demonstrated cross-functional leadership and ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with Snowflake or other cloud data platforms.
• Familiarity with Snowflake's developer ecosystem (Notebooks, Streamlit, Cortex).
• Recognized community standing as a committer or maintainer in strategic developer communities.
• Prior professional experience as a software, data, or ML/AI engineer.
