Software Engineer, Founders Initiatives (AI)

Location: Redwood City, California, United States

Salary: $160,000–$270,000 per year, plus meaningful equity.

What you will do

• Build production-grade AI workflows, automations, and agent systems for hiring, sales, operations, and customer experience.
• Develop resume signal extraction, lead scoring, candidate screening, and personalized recruiting workflows.
• Automate enterprise security, compliance, contract review, onboarding, accounts receivable, and finance-related workflows.
• Integrate internal systems through APIs and CRM platforms including Salesforce, HubSpot, and GoHighLevel.
• Build workflow automation with Zapier, n8n, and Make, and create LLM-powered systems using OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, and other models.
• Develop sales, marketing, customer lifecycle, website personalization, and outbound email automation systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• New graduate or up to 1 year of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong engineering ability demonstrated through internships, research, startup work, or meaningful personal projects.
• Strong backend, full-stack, or systems engineering fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience building with LLMs, AI agents, or modern AI tooling.
• Ability to take ownership, work across product, engineering, and operations, and build end-to-end systems in ambiguous environments.
