What you will do

• Design and release complex engineered-to-order busbar assemblies, cable end boxes, and tap-off boxes for mission-critical power applications.
• Serve as the primary technical authority and subject matter expert for PowerBar HPB and PowerBar Track product lines.
• Lead root cause investigations of engineering-related quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Mentor and develop mechanical engineers through structured onboarding, training, and design reviews.
• Establish and maintain drawing, modeling, and BOM quality standards to improve first-pass engineering yield.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain to enhance manufacturability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience, with at least 2 years in engineered-to-order (ETO) products.
• Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and engineering drawing development.
• Deep expertise in sheet metal, copper, aluminum, and electromechanical assembly design.
• Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and industry standards (UL857, IEC 61439).
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; no sponsorship will be provided.
