What you will do

• Lead and participate directly in the assembly of prototypes and low-volume production products.
• Design and create manufacturing aids, jigs, and fixtures to support assembly processes.
• Provide daily technical support to the shop floor, troubleshooting build problems and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with design engineering to ensure products are optimized for manufacturability (DFM).
• Create and maintain detailed build instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Investigate build failures and quality issues using root-cause analysis methodologies like 5 Whys.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, or related).
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience building complex mechanical or electromechanical products (or 3 years with a Master's degree).
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering prints and electrical schematics.
• Proven experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
