What you will do

• Lead quality initiatives for mechanical subsystems, focusing on robustness and reducing defects.
• Establish and maintain standards for design processes, documentation, and verification testing.
• Collaborate with engineering, NPI, and suppliers to ensure quality and manufacturability.
• Build and execute design verification plans, including fixture development and validation.
• Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions (CAPA) to enhance reliability.
• Support continuous improvement through process refinement and training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or Master’s with relevant experience).
• 5–8 years of experience in mechanical/quality engineering or product development.
• Strong expertise in GD&T, tolerance analysis, and mechanical design fundamentals.
• Experience with DFM/DFA principles and design verification testing.
• Proficiency in root cause analysis methods (8D, 5 Whys, A3) and CAPA processes.
• Must be based in the US (Agoura Hills, CA); no visa sponsorship provided.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with SOLIDWORKS and PDM systems.
• Experience with FEA tools like ANSYS.
• Lean Six Sigma certification and FMEA experience.
• Knowledge of semiconductor equipment or SEMI standards.
