Chief Financial Controller (Fintech)

hirify.global, formerly Different Technologies, is launching financial operations in Colombia and building a modern, transparent, and resilient financial system.

What you will do

• Lead accounting, tax, statutory and SFC regulatory reporting, as well as local treasury operations for the Colombian entity.
• Drive the finance workstream of the SFC licensing process for the Compañía de Financiamiento, ensuring capital, control and reporting requirements are met.
• Own month-end close, Colombian IFRS statutory reporting and periodic submissions to the Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia.
• Manage Colombian tax compliance and planning covering renta, retención en la fuente, ICA and GMF, while maintaining relationships with DIAN.
• Prepare consolidation packages under IFRS and US GAAP, including intercompany flows, transfer pricing and foreign-investment registration with Banco de la República.
• Build the internal control environment and act as the principal finance interface with the SFC and external auditors.

Requirements

• Proven finance leadership experience in a Compañía de Financiamiento, bank or other SFC-regulated institution is required.
• Hands-on experience with regulatory reporting to the Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia and strong knowledge of its regulatory framework.
• Deep expertise in Colombian IFRS, statutory reporting, month-end close and consolidation.
• Strong knowledge of Colombian tax requirements, including renta, retención en la fuente, ICA and GMF, with an established DIAN relationship.
• Experience with IFRS and/or US GAAP consolidation packages, intercompany flows, transfer pricing and Banco de la República foreign-investment registration.
• Fluent Spanish and English, with the ability to work effectively in an international group structure.
