What you will do
- Own the commercial card sales strategy and drive revenue growth across Mid-Market and Enterprise segments.
- Lead the end-to-end sales lifecycle, from pipeline generation through executive engagement and contract close.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing sales team, recruiting and coaching Business Development Managers.
- Develop scalable sales processes, forecasting, and pipeline governance to deliver sustainable growth.
- Build trusted relationships with senior finance, procurement, and treasury stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to optimize the customer journey.
Requirements
- 7–10+ years of B2B payments or commercial card sales experience.
- At least 3 years in a leadership or player-manager role.
- Proven success selling payment solutions or related finance technologies.
- Experience thriving in startup or high-growth environments.
- Strong understanding of payment processes and value drivers for CFO and Controller personas.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment from the Manchester or Knaresborough office.
