What you will do

• Diagnose and resolve IT issues to maintain and optimize system functionality.
• Support system modifications, implementations, and functional testing of workflows.
• Manage user security settings and assist with data import/export and basic reporting.
• Coordinate project planning, including defining scope, deliverables, and risk mitigation.
• Provide end-user support and deliver classroom or one-on-one training.
• Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements and align technical solutions with objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field OR two years of relevant experience.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Morgantown, West Virginia.
• Ability to travel to other WVUHS facilities as required for implementation and support.
• Foundational experience in analyzing business needs and documenting functional specifications.

Nice to have

• Experience with healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7, FHIR, and DICOM.
• Knowledge of cloud-based healthcare applications and web services.
• Experience working in inpatient and outpatient clinical settings.
• Proficiency in systems administration and data reporting tools.
