What you will do
- Lead international teams of examiners and senior examiners to ensure high assessment quality.
- Manage authoring teams to produce high-quality assessment materials for designated subjects.
- Implement and monitor effective standardization processes for marking assessment material.
- Lead grade award meetings to ensure grades are awarded fairly and accurately.
- Represent the assessment perspective in curriculum reviews and at international conferences.
- Manage assessment-related expenses and communicate guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Degree-level qualification relevant to the designated subjects.
- Significant post-qualification experience in educational assessment, teaching, or research.
- Ability to work in at least one of: Dutch, French, or Swedish.
- Excellent writing skills in English.
- Ability to analyze and draw conclusions from statistical information.
- Must be based in or able to commute to Cardiff, UK for hybrid work.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in a similar subject manager role.
- Experience in examining.
- Ability to work in other Group 2 languages offered by the IB.
