What you will do
- Lead daily stand-ups and coordinate workflows for a pod of four entry-level associates.
- Deliver intensive systems-based onboarding and technical training on payroll applications and HMRC regulations.
- Perform meticulous quality and compliance audits on 100% of end-to-end payroll runs and data inputs.
- Track individual learning curves and provide constructive feedback through regular 1-on-1 reviews.
- Maintain and update training materials, troubleshooting guides, and workflow documentation.
- Cultivate a positive, collaborative environment that encourages peer-to-peer learning and professional growth.
Requirements
- Must have prior experience in payroll processing or training within the education sector.
- Proven experience in technical mentorship, coaching, or delivering structured learning in a professional environment.
- Deep functional knowledge of end-to-end payroll, HMRC regulations, and data compliance.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage performance progression for entry-level staff.
- Strong attention to detail with a track record of performing financial quality and compliance audits.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills for delivering feedback and fostering an inclusive environment.

- Experience in developing academy training materials and workflow documentation.
