TL;DR

People and Culture Lead (Proptech): Designing and scaling automated people operations and culture systems for a high-performance distributed team with an accent on AI-native workflows and full-cycle recruiting. Focus on building scalable onboarding/offboarding processes, managing HR compliance across multiple European entities, and designing culture rituals for a hub-and-spoke organization.

Location: Based in or able to work from London; willingness to travel to Zurich is required.

What you will do

  • Build and scale automated people systems (onboarding, offboarding, performance reviews) using an AI-native stack.
  • Own the end-to-end recruiting process across commercial, technical, and operational roles.
  • Manage HR administration and compliance across entities in Switzerland, Germany, and the UK.
  • Design and implement culture rituals and communication systems for a distributed hub-and-spoke team.
  • Collaborate with leadership to define role requirements and build structured interview kits.
  • Plan and execute team offsites and wellbeing initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of experience in People Ops, HR, or Culture, specifically within scaling startups.
  • Proven track record in full-cycle recruiting (sourcing, screening, and closing).
  • Must be based in or able to work from London.
  • Experience operating across multiple employment frameworks (CH/DE/UK exposure is a plus).
  • English: C1+ (strong written and verbal) required.
  • Proficiency with AI tools and a builder mentality toward automating manual processes.

Nice to have

  • German language proficiency.
  • Experience in operations or consulting (founder's office).
